One of the UK's leading Five Red Star country house hotels, Pale Hall is a luxurious destination for quiet retreat, comfort and culinary indulgence. Situated at the Snowdonia National Park this historic Victorian mansion features eighteen bedrooms and suites and four charming garden suites within the estate grounds.  With plans for significant investment and growth over the coming months, particularly in our dining choices, this is a very exciting place to be!

We are looking for cheerful, enthusiastic and flexible people to join our waiting on team.  Previous experience isn't essential, we will give full training, the main requirements are to be immaculately presented, cheerful and reliable.  After being trained in our menus and service style you'll be responsible for taking orders accurately and delivering a swift and professional food and beverage service to our guests.  We're looking for flexible people who can be available for breakfast, daytime or evening shifts, so the ability to commute reliably is essential.

One of the AA Five Red Star hotels in Wales, with AA Three Rosettes and the coveted Michelin Green Star for food sustainability, Pale Hall currently offers two contrasting dining experiences.  The Henry Robertson fine dining room with tranquil views over the lawns serves our four and seven course tasting menus, and the rustic Huntsman bistro offers more relaxed dining from a traditional la carte menu.  Our food is created from locally sourced and sustainable produce with menus changing and developing as we move through the seasons.  With plans for expansion and new outlets, there are opportunities for the right people to grow and develop with us.

This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week, five days over seven.

To deliver excellence in food and beverage service, following Palé Hall standards of performance.

To demonstrate a high standard of personal presentation, appropriately dressed in company uniform and adhering to the dress policy.

To have a thorough up to date knowledge of the menus including the components, presentation and delivery of each individual dish.

To clean and prepare service stations, stillroom and work areas before and after service following the pre and post service checklists.

To provide a swift and professional service to hotel guests in the restaurants and lounges.

To assist colleagues where possible, promoting excellent teamwork and exceeding customer expectations.

To proactively communicate customer feedback and new ideas/suggestions for continuous improvement of customer service.

To assist in the training and development of fellow team members through coaching and sharing of skills.

To maintain a positive and flexible attitude to the working environment.
