Twin Farms is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination and harassment in accordance with all applicable laws.

At Twin Farms, you’ll be part of a culinary team that takes pride in thoughtful cooking, careful preparation, and working well together. You’ll work closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to prepare dishes that meet our standards for flavor, presentation, and consistency.

This is a hands-on role involving both preparation and service. Depending on kitchen needs, your work may include breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffet, and pastry preparation. We’re looking for someone who brings strong cooking skills, takes ownership of their station, and communicates clearly with teammates.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook: Follow recipes and chef direction, paying close attention to flavor, portioning, and presentation.
  • Be ready for service: Keep your station organized, prepare ingredients, and communicate any supply or preparation needs.
  • Work with the team: Coordinate timing with chefs and other cooks, respond to changing priorities, and help colleagues when needed.
  • Care for guest needs: Follow established procedures carefully when preparing dishes for guests with allergies, dietary requirements, or specific preferences.
  • Support different areas of the kitchen: Assist with other stations and types of service as assigned by culinary leadership.
  • Use ingredients thoughtfully: Monitor supplies, follow proper storage practices, and help minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, safe kitchen: Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean and follow food safety and kitchen safety procedures.
  • Contribute your ideas: Share suggestions for seasonal dishes and improvements to preparation or service.

What We’re Looking For

Strong cooking skills and attention to detail are important, along with dependability, organization, and a willingness to work as part of a team. We value cooks who take feedback well, communicate when they need support, and bring care and consistency to their work.

  • Strong understanding of professional kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods.
  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality dishes in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with dietary restrictions, food allergies, and nutritional considerations.
  • Ability to follow direction while also managing tasks independently with strong time-management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail at assigned workstations.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with kitchen leadership and team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety.
  • Ability to maintain composure and efficiency during busy service periods.
  • Culinary education and/or relevant on-the-job training preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine-dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or resort kitchen preferred.
  • Fast-paced culinary environment with varying service demands.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires both independent work and close collaboration with culinary team members.
  • Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

At Twin Farms, we believe that when our team members are genuinely cared for, they are empowered to deliver extraordinary hospitality. Our benefits are thoughtfully designed to support well-being, provide stability, and encourage long-term professional growth.
