ABOUT THE POSITION
Breakfast is often the first and most memorable experience of the day. At Storfjord Hotel, we believe it should be every bit as exceptional as the rest of the guest journey. We are looking for a passionate Breakfast Chef who enjoys creating beautiful, high-quality breakfast experiences using seasonal Norwegian ingredients and carefully selected local produce.
Working closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting an à la carte breakfast that reflects the quality and craftsmanship Storfjord Hotel is known for. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to menu development and continuously elevate the guest experience. This is a 100% position.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve exceptional à la carte breakfast dishes with precision and care
- Ensure every guest receives a memorable start to their day
- Contribute to the development of seasonal breakfast menus together with the Head Chef
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety procedures
- Take ownership of the breakfast service while collaborating closely with the wider kitchen team
- Support other kitchen operations when required
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
- Holds a professional chef certificate or has equivalent relevant experience
- Has experience from hotels, fine dining or quality restaurants
- Is passionate about Nordic cuisine and outstanding ingredients
- Has an eye for detail and takes pride in craftsmanship
- Enjoys working independently while being a strong team player
- Thrives in a high-end hospitality environment where quality always comes first
- Communicates well in English
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences
- Holds a valid driver's licence
