Twin Farms is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician – Plumbing & Electrical to join our Engineering and Maintenance team. This role supports the daily operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and general building systems across our luxury resort property.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a high-end hospitality environment where guest comfort, discretion, and timely response are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing and electrical systems throughout the property
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, guestroom concerns, and operational needs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing fixtures, water systems, pumps, drains, lighting, outlets, switches, panels, and related equipment
  • Diagnose and repair issues involving leaks, clogs, fixtures, wiring, breakers, lighting, and other building systems
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed, including light carpentry, painting, mechanical repairs, and property upkeep
  • Support seasonal maintenance needs and property projects across guest rooms, cottages, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and grounds
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, parts used, and completed work orders
  • Follow all safety procedures, property standards, and applicable codes
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Housekeeping, Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other departments to support smooth property operations
  • Provide professional, discreet, and courteous service when working in guest-facing areas

  • Previous maintenance experience with plumbing and electrical responsibilities required
  • Hospitality, resort, estate, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical systems, fixtures, equipment, and preventative maintenance practices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to complete repairs safely and efficiently
  • Plumbing, electrical, or related trade license/certification preferred, but not required depending on experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a guest-service mindset
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, or on-call shifts as business needs require

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, crawl, and reach for extended periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment

Compensation $30.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
