Twin Farms is located in bucolic Barnard, Vermont, about 90 minutes from Burlington, three hours from Boston, or five from New York City. Stays are reserved for adults only and are inclusive of all meals, fine wines and spirits, as well as all activities and equipment.

The Groundskeeper plays an integral role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and overall presentation of the Twin Farms property. Working as part of a collaborative team, this role ensures that all outdoor spaces are clean, well-groomed, and reflective of our high standards.
This position also supports the guest experience through cross-department collaboration, including assisting with guest transportation, luggage handling, and preparing outdoor spaces and accommodations to meet guest expectations.

- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver tools, equipment, and materials weighing over 100 lbs.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs at shoulder height and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work on both smooth and uneven terrain in varying weather conditions, including snow, ice, and rain.
- Comfortable working on ladders and elevated surfaces up to 15 feet.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to make safe, independent decisions aligned with job responsibilities, policies, and procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
- Working knowledge of the safe operation of landscaping equipment, tools, and vehicles.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, remain organized, and follow through despite frequent interruptions or changing demands.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintains a professional, guest-focused approach with a positive and proactive attitude, while upholding confidentiality standards.
- Familiarity with a wide range of basic hand tools and groundskeeping equipment.
- Adaptable and resourceful in responding to changing needs and challenges.
- Flexible and reliable, with availability to support property operations including opening/closing duties, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of two years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
- Experience operating landscaping machinery and equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent required.
- OSHA General Industry certification preferred.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a physically demanding, fast-paced outdoor environment with changing priorities.
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, crouching, and lifting.
- Frequent collaboration with team members and other departments across the property.
- Schedule typically includes long hours, with regular weekend and holiday work required.
- Occasional shifts may fall outside regular hours to support emergencies or operational needs.
