A lakeside retreat where the Adirondacks come alive.
Since it emerged as a playground for the prominent families of the Gilded Age, Lake Placid’s timber and stone Great Camps have housed generations of vacationers. Designed in the style of the Great Camps, Lake Placid Lodge’s arts and crafts-style lodge blends seamlessly into the forest, while expansive stone porches offer sweeping lake views.
Find rustic luxury in welcoming guest rooms or secluded cabins that offer an unrivaled sense of place. No two of our 30 luxurious guest accommodations are quite the same. Stone fireplaces, towering hand-carved wooden beds, and sumptuous fabrics envelop you with comfort the moment you enter your room, suite, or cabin. Enjoy the mountain and lake views that take center stage in rooms and suites with private terraces, or stay just steps from the water in a private lakeside cottage.
