We are seeking a Head Chef ready to lead Botanica from its opening phase and shape its identity from the ground up. This is an opportunity to build and train a talented team, craft the menu, and collaborate with our greenhouse team to highlight the best of seasonal, local ingredients.
The role requires a passionate, generous, and creative leader — someone who values simplicity, sustainability, and the beauty of food made with care. The chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operation of an 80-seat restaurant with two bars, launching in October, and will work closely with local and international teams to deliver a fresh, Mediterranean-inspired menu that evolves with the harvest.
Minimum 2 years of experience as Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
Strong foundation in Mediterranean cuisine and ingredient-driven cooking
Passion for seasonality, sustainability, and working with local produce
Experience in team-building, training, and empowering staff
Willingness to relocate to El Gouna and commit to a minimum of 2 years
Strong organizational, creative, and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
