Job Summary:

Park Hotel Kenmare is seeking a skilled and professional Spa Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wellness and beauty, providing high-quality spa treatments to our clients. You will be responsible for delivering a range of therapies, including massages, facials, body treatments and other spa services while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a variety of spa treatments such as massages, facials, body wraps, scrubs, and other therapeutic services.
• Conduct client consultations to determine their individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and serene spa environment.
• Educate clients on available spa services, treatments, and aftercare.
• Ensure the highest level of hygiene and sanitation standards are met.
• Recommend suitable products and services to clients to enhance their wellness experience.
• Uphold excellent customer service and professional behaviour at all times.
• Manage spa equipment and inventory, ensuring all tools and products are in optimal condition.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and wellness practices.

• Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, skincare treatments, and holistic therapies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanour with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of spa products and the ability to upsell effectively.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not mandatory).
