We are looking for a dynamic individual looking to join our team in the role of Event Sales Co-ordinator at the Cashel Palace Hotel.

Objective of the Role

Reporting directly to the Event Sales Manager this is a brilliant opportunity for an Events Executive to join our busy Sales & Marketing Team. In this role you will be responsible for maximising the sales potential and achieving the event sales budget of the hotel.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Dealing with telephone, email and web enquiries for Meetings & Events
  • To ensure the accurate processing, distribution, and recording/filing and follow up of all sales correspondence, including the execution of contracts, quotations, confirmations, cancellations
  • Ensure all client needs are met and perform account management on all client bookings
  • Management of databases
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Hotsoft is desirable but not essential

Experience and Key Attributes

  • 1 year’s previous event sales/coordination experience in a hotel or venue would be an advantage
  • Experience within the hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage
  • Comfortable meeting and working with guests
  • An excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
